Well, it's been quite a while since we last updated our blog... But in our defense,

WE'VE BEEN BUSY!!!!

Over the past couple months, we

• finally finished all our home improvement projects (I think Shawn shed a few tears of joy when he put up the last piece of siding... )
• Went to the ROTC Spring Ball
• Had Shawn's Commissioning Ceremony-- he is now officially an officer (2nd Lieutenant) in the US Army

Shawn's Cheering Section- Dad Droge, our family, Bishop Rau (who gave Shawn's First Salute) and the Eliassens

• Had Shawn's Graduation from Austin Peay University with his Bachelors in Psychology (forgot the camera... Dad Droge got some good pictures-- I'll get some from him eventually and post them)
• Got into a FANTASTIC frosting fight (sadly, pictures of the us in our frosted glory are on a different camera... but these pictures of our good friends, Andrea and Mike Eliassen, should give you an idea of the fun...)
  

• Had Shawn's Dad out for a great visit
• Got a contract to sell our house (we close on June 16th)
• Passed a home inspection and VA Appraisal (sometimes they can be even pickier than the inspector)
• Took a house-hunting trip down to Georgia... No, we still haven't found our future home. We'll find it... eventually.
• Packed up our home and moved everything into storage.

Now we're living on air mattresses in an empty house. The kids LOVE it, because they can run around and play all kinds of games, and they think we're on some sort of glorified camping trip. (with bathrooms and electricity). Next week, we'll officially be homeless nomads, wandering the land in search of our next big adventure! Stay tuned!
